Fitted Kitchen Installation in Worcester
From strip-out to the final snagging walk-round — Aaron handles your complete fitted kitchen installation with precision and care. Every stage carried out personally, with no subcontractors.
Complete Fitted Kitchen Installation
A fitted kitchen installation is one of the most transformative home improvements you can make. Done properly, it adds genuine value to your home and a kitchen that works exactly as it should for years to come. Done badly, it creates problems that are expensive and disruptive to fix.
Aaron Evans provides a complete fitted kitchen installation service across Worcester and Worcestershire — handling every stage of the process with the kind of attention to detail that comes from a genuinely skilled and experienced tradesperson. You can see examples of completed installations in the project gallery.
What a Complete Installation Includes
A full kitchen installation covers everything from removing your old kitchen through to the final finishing details. Here is what Aaron includes as standard:
- Removal of old kitchen — existing units, worktops and appliances are stripped out and taken away, with the space prepared for the new installation
- Units and cabinets — assembly, levelling and secure fixing of base and wall units, whether flat-pack or pre-assembled
- Worktops — precise measurement, cutting and fitting of laminate, solid wood, granite or quartz worktops, including upstands and splashbacks
- Plumbing — sink, waste and dishwasher connections handled as part of the same job, so there is no need to arrange a separate plumber
- Tiling — splashback and floor tiling, including herringbone and geometric patterns, with all grouting and silicone finishing done to a high standard
- Finishing and snagging — filler panels, cornice, pelmet and plinth fitted flush; doors and drawers aligned; final snagging walk-round and full tidy-up before handover
The Installation Process
Every kitchen project follows a clear process to ensure the best possible result:
- Quote & Planning
Aaron visits to assess the space, discuss your requirements, and provide a clear, itemised quote. He'll advise on any potential issues and help ensure the project runs smoothly.
- Strip-out & Preparation
The existing kitchen is removed — units, worktops, old tiles, old appliances. The space is cleared and the walls and floor are assessed. If preparation work is needed (making good plaster, levelling floors), this is done now. The time this takes depends on the condition of the room.
- Unit Installation
Base units, wall units and tall units are assembled (if flat-pack) or positioned (if pre-assembled), then levelled and fixed to the walls. Every detail matters here — misaligned units create lasting frustration with doors, worktops and drawers.
- Worktops & Finishing
Worktops are accurately measured, cut and fitted with neat joints. Sink and hob cut-outs are made on site. Upstands, plinths and cornice are added, creating a clean, finished appearance throughout.
- Plumbing & Appliances
Sink, dishwasher and washing machine connections are made. Taps are fitted and tested. Appliances including hobs, ovens and extractors are installed and tested. Because Aaron handles the plumbing himself, there is no waiting for a separate plumber.
- Tiling
Splashback and floor tiling carried out to a high standard, including herringbone and other decorative patterns. See the plumbing and tiling page for more detail.
- Snagging & Handover
Cornice, pelmet and plinths are fitted. Filler panels are cut and installed. Doors and drawers are aligned. Silicone sealing is completed. A thorough final check ensures everything works correctly and looks as it should. The workspace is fully cleaned up before Aaron leaves.
Suitable Kitchen Retailers and Brands
Aaron fits kitchens supplied by all major retailers and trade suppliers. You choose and purchase the kitchen you want — whether that is a flat-pack range from IKEA, a pre-assembled kitchen from Wren, or a trade supply from Howdens — and Aaron handles the professional installation.
Aaron is not an official partner, approved installer or certified fitter for any of these brands. He is an independent kitchen fitter who installs kitchens supplied by these retailers to the same professional standard. You choose and purchase the kitchen directly from your preferred supplier, and Aaron handles the fitting.
Howdens Kitchens
Howdens is one of the most popular trade kitchen suppliers in the UK, and Aaron regularly fits Howdens kitchens in the area. If you have visited a local Howdens depot and have a design and quote, Aaron can review the plans and carry out the full installation.
Wren Kitchens
Wren kitchens are supplied rigid (pre-assembled), which makes for a straightforward installation when the space has been properly measured. Aaron fits Wren kitchens to the same standard as any other supplier — units levelled, worktops precision-cut, and all finishing details handled.
IKEA Kitchens
IKEA kitchens are flat-pack and require careful assembly and precise levelling to achieve a good finish. Aaron has experience fitting IKEA METOD kitchens and is familiar with the system. If you have designed your kitchen using the IKEA planner, he can review the plan and handle the full installation.
Wickes and B&Q Kitchens
Wickes and B&Q both offer popular kitchen ranges at accessible price points. Aaron fits kitchens from both suppliers — whether flat-pack or rigid — and ensures the same level of care and attention to detail as with any higher-end brand.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between kitchen fitting and kitchen installation?
Kitchen fitting typically refers to installing the units, worktops and finishing details, while kitchen installation covers the full process from removing the old kitchen through to the final snagging. In practice, Aaron handles both — from complete installations to smaller jobs like worktop replacement or unit swaps.
Can you fit kitchens from Howdens, Wren, IKEA and other suppliers?
Yes. Aaron fits kitchens supplied by all major retailers and trade suppliers, including Howdens, Wren, IKEA, Wickes, B&Q, Magnet, Benchmarx and DIY Kitchens. If you already have a kitchen design or supplier quote, Aaron can review the fitting requirements and install the kitchen professionally. He does not sell kitchens himself — you choose and purchase the kitchen, and he handles the fitting.
How long does a full kitchen installation take?
A straightforward kitchen replacement might take 3–5 days, while a full refit involving plumbing, tiling and significant carpentry work might take 7–10 days. Aaron will give you a realistic timeframe when quoting. See the installation timescale guide for more detail.
Do you handle the plumbing and tiling as part of the installation?
Yes. Aaron handles sink, waste and dishwasher plumbing connections, and carries out splashback and floor tiling — including herringbone and geometric patterns. Because the same person handles the fitting, plumbing and tiling, you have one point of contact throughout rather than coordinating multiple trades. See the plumbing and tiling page for more detail.
What happens during the strip-out?
The existing units, worktops, old tiles and old appliances are removed and taken away. The walls and floor are assessed and any preparation work — making good plaster, levelling floors — is done at this stage. The time this takes depends on the condition of the room.
For more general questions about quotes, timing and how the process works, see the main FAQ page.
